The take your kids to work day was a new thing for me. When I went to my dad’s work there they actually had a tour arranged for us, there were also other kids. In the tour they showed us the history of the company which is Kodak, they did a PowerPoint presentation which was made by one of their representatives of the company. In the power point presentation they showed us about the history of Kodak and how the company started and what where there first products. Kodak started with selling cameras they were one of first company to make cameras and with the camera they made lots of there money but there main money source was the films that the cameras used, Kodak had made the first digital camera but they didn't want to put it out into the markets because they thought that they would lose lots of money because the films where used on the other cameras. Other company’s started to put digital cameras on the market and then Kodak started to lose money. Today Kodak doesn't do any cameras they do printers. After the power presentation I had lunch with my dad. After that they just showed us around the building. Going to my dad’s work was a cool experience.
